I have been keeping track of my exercise every Friday for 5 years, and plan to continue doing so.
Since the pandemic started, I have been keeping track of “firsts,” and more lately, I have been trying to note good things (“fabulousness”). It’s a good way to pay attention and not let life slide by.
This week I was on vacation, with a trip to London. So there’s lots of Firsts and Fabulousness, not so much with the exercise numbers.
Friday Firsts
This week’s firsts:
- I saw a musical in London. Mr. PiN just walked over and bought last minute tickets to Hamilton our second day there. It was awesome!
- I visited the Queen’s House in Greenwich, and enjoyed the building and the art collection.
- I also finally got to the National Gallery, which I was thrilled to visit. Yes, we are museum hounds.
Fabulousness
We went to London!
I saw a lot of tourist sites I hadn’t seen for over two decades, and some attractions I had missed in the past.
Fitness Log
The goal is to get 150 minutes of moderate exercise, of which (ideally) 60 minutes should build strength (yoga counts); if I am working in the hospital, my goal is just 90 minutes, which is a more realistic stretch during those busy days.
How did I do?
I have no idea. However, I spent a number of days doing a lot of walking, until my feet were sore (and maybe my hips, too). I suspect I walked at least 1 hour per day.
I will say that I met my goal this week.
I hope you had an excellent week as well, full of adventure and fitness (though maybe not the sore feet).
I saw that actual painting when I was in London last year!!!
Whoa!
