Fitness Log #317, And Friday Fabulousness

I have been keeping track of my exercise every Friday for 5 years, and plan to continue doing so.

Since the pandemic started, I have been keeping track of “firsts,” and more lately, I have been trying to note good things (“fabulousness”). It’s a good way to pay attention and not let life slide by.

Fabulousness

It was a long, tough week. But we made it better at the PiN household by watching Grease, a few scenes at a time. We finished the week with “Beauty School Dropout.” When did Frankie Avalon start looking so young in that scene?

Fitness Log

The goal is to get 150 minutes of moderate exercise, of which (ideally) 60 minutes should build strength (yoga counts); if I am working in the hospital, my goal is just 90 minutes, which is a more realistic stretch during those busy days.

How did I do during this hospital week?

The cold winter of my exercise-defeat.
  • Saturday:  I was exhausted after work, no exercise for me.
  • Sunday:  I am again getting out of work when it’s darker than I like for walking. I need to up my indoor-exercise game, when I’m done with my notes.
  • Monday: One of my longest days in a very long time. No exercise today.
  • Tuesday: Another super-long day. No walking.
  • Wednesday: Nothing today either.
  • Thursday: Home early from work for the holiday. However, I did holiday-type things, like talking to family; and then got some work done on the computer. No exercise today either.
  • Friday: Finally, at the end of the week, Mr. PiN and I took a walk around the block after work. 5 minutes.

Total: I totally failed my exercise goals this week. I am not sure I am up to meeting my goals next week either, but maybe a new week will equal a better attitude. The weather forecast is not looking good for walking, though.

I hope you have had a good week. Feel free to share any fabulous news of your own.
