I started this blog in 2018, with the goals of writing about personal finance from my view point: a primary care physician practicing the USA. A bread winner. A wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and step-mom. Someone looking to rekindle a love of writing.
As time goes on, I see my blog has evolved.
I still write about personal finance, mostly from the viewpoint of an internist/PCP, who is also female, and the breadwinner. These posts usually show up on Mondays.
I also have been shifting my posts to think more about building the life I want to live when I grow up.
I would like to: be generous, travel, fill my mind with more than medicine and money, be a loving wife/daughter/sister/aunt/step-mom, and live in a lovely (neat and uncluttered) home I can open to friends, once that part of the pandemic is over, at a moment’s notice. These topics make appearances periodically as well.
I want to be healthier than most of my regular patients. So I have been keeping track of my exercise on Fridays, and (mostly) pushing myself to do better.
Several of my posts have been featured by other bloggers, including mentions in Physician On Fire‘s Sunday Best, Xrayvsn‘s Grand Rounds, Financial Success MD‘s Fawcett’s Favorites, Passive Income MD‘s Journal Club, Personal Finance Blogs, All Star Money, and the White Coat Investor monthly newsletter.
