I have been keeping track of my exercise every Friday for 5 years, and plan to continue doing so.
Since the pandemic started, I have been keeping track of “firsts,” and more lately, I have been trying to note good things (“fabulousness”). It’s a good way to pay attention and not let life slide by.
Friday Firsts
This week’s firsts:
- I tried out another exercise video from the list at Boomer Eco Crusader. Also one I would do again (walking and stretching).
Fitness Log
The goal is to get 150 minutes of moderate exercise, of which (ideally) 60 minutes should build strength (yoga counts); if I am working in the hospital, my goal is just 90 minutes, which is a more realistic stretch during those busy days.
How did I do?
- Saturday: Tried a new video workout, 22 minutes.
- Sunday: Unfortunately, my knee bothered me after yesterday’s work out (probably related to the foot issue). I bailed on exercise today.
- Monday: A workout with my trainer, 30 minutes.
- Tuesday: I walked a lot in the hospital, but no formal exercise.
- Wednesday: No tennis lesson, my teacher is still out of town. After watching lots of CME videos, the last one on the importance of exercise, I worked out to last week’s exercise video. 22 minutes.
- Thursday: No exercise.
- Friday: Family excitement (not the good kind) with Mr. PiN’s father. No exercise after work.
Total: 44 minutes of exercise videos, and 30 minutes of strength training. Still not at my goal.
CME Goals
- MKSAP: none.
- CME Videos: 5 hours. Perhaps I need a little more balance here.
