July is approaching, and I see that people are reading some of my older posts on budgeting.
This might be a very good time to highlight posts which may be of interest to people about to start their training.
What Should You Budget For Intern Year in 2022? (I should have updated this, but life has been crazy. If you are smart enough to graduate medical school and become an intern, you can apply the pertinent points to your budget in 2025.)
The companion piece, Sample Budgets for Intern Year, gets less attention. I used some silly names for my doctors, but I think it could be helpful to look at several different budgets when making your own.
In my first year of blogging, I offered Five Financial Tips for Intern Year. I built this list mostly from my mistakes.
A few years later, I offered 4 Pieces Of Advice For Those Starting Internship. These are not all about finances.
Lastly, if you have already locked yourself into a budget that isn’t going to work out well, remember that life is all about change. I offer a post on Correcting Course, which might inspire you to make some improvements in your financial situation.

Best of luck to all the new interns! For those further along in their careers, do you have any advice to pass along?
