Fitness Log #350

I have been keeping track of my exercise every Friday for 6 years, and plan to continue doing so.

Since the pandemic started, I have been keeping track of “firsts,” and more lately, I have been trying to note good things (“fabulousness”). It’s a good way to pay attention and not let life slide by.

However, I didn’t have much fabulousness this week. Nor firsts that I feel like noting.

Fitness Log

The goal is to get 150 minutes of moderate exercise, of which (ideally) 60 minutes should build strength (yoga counts); if I am working in the hospital, my goal is just 90 minutes, which is a more realistic stretch during those busy days.

How did I do during this hospital week?

Japanese print of a cat on a windowsill, looking out at a landscape with a mountain in the background.
Is this an illustration of my inner self, looking out at the world from the hospital (from an imaginary office much nicer looking than my real-world one)?
  • Saturday:  A long first day, no exercise.
  • Sunday:  No exercise today either.
  • Monday: A walk to my pick up point, 17 minutes.
  • Tuesday: No time for a walk today, Mr. PiN and I had to go buy computers. No exercise, except running the credit card.
  • Wednesday: A walk to my pick up point, 17 minutes.
  • Thursday: A walk to my pick up point, 17 minutes.
  • Friday: Another walk to my pick up point, 17 minutes.

Total: 68 minutes of walking, so falling short of my goal. Still, I think this might be better than some hospital weeks.

I hope you have had a good week. Feel free to share any fabulous news of your own.
