And now for something completely different…
In the past week, I have been thrilled to watch the Canada Open (tennis). Victoria Mboko made a dream run, going from an up-and-comer to someone who I really believed would not lose her matches. She beat 4 Grand Slam Winners to lift the trophy in her home country. The crowd support was amazing, and I am so glad I got to see her play live(on TV). I hope that her career continues to be so successful.
Also this week, my Canadian-American partner had to resign. She has been spending a lot of time in Canada taking care of family, and just can’t be in the USA to provide care. I can see why she can’t be a PCP if she isn’t in town, but I am sad, as she is an excellent physician. On the plus side, I have an open invitation for coffee if I find myself in her home town.
Lastly, Mr. PiN and I are off to the west coast of Canada for vacation. I haven’t been to British Columbia for (calculates) 30 years, and am looking forward to our vacation.
Mr. PiN’s niece lives there, and offered to set me up for an interview with her PCP, as apparently they are recruiting physicians to the province. I turned her down, but now I am starting to wonder more about this…

I hope you have a wonderful week.
