I’ve started Wednesday W’s as a way to give short updates of how I use my (new) extra day off per week. I am curious about what I will do with that extra day, and think blogging about it might prompt me to make sure I take advantage of it.
When did I wake up: Just before 7 AM. I enjoyed a slow start to the morning, blogging in my comfy bathrobe before my workout.
Who am I spending time with: My trainer, Mr. PiN, and my to-do list.
What did I do for work: A smattering of tasks, including dealing with messages, dealing with results, writing evaluations, and doing required educational modules.
What project am I working on, now I have time: Knocking off several items from my to do list, including mailing holiday gifts, getting stamps for holiday cards, and taking care of house chores.
What did I do to “fill my bucket:” Worked out with my trainer in the morning, and blogged too. Later, I finalized some details for our first two trips of 2026.
What else was good about today: It was cold outside, but I got to stay indoors in my very warm home office. I even had a hot lunch.
