Fitness Log #393, Friday Firsts And Fabulousness

I have been keeping track of my exercise every Friday for 7 years, and plan to continue doing so.

Since the pandemic started, I have been keeping track of “firsts,” and more lately, I have been trying to note good things (“fabulousness”). It’s a good way to pay attention and not let life slide by.

Friday Firsts

I actually finished my hospital rotation notes and sign out before dinner of my last day. It was amazing.

Fabulousness

Mid-week, I was able to make some plane and hotel reservations using points, so very little out of pocket costs for me. I love planning trips, and it’s even better when I save money.

Later in the week, we had our gas turned off because of a leak (boo!), but I was still able to get at least one hot shower out of our hot water tank (hooray!).

Fitness Log

The goal is to get 150 minutes of moderate exercise, of which (ideally) 60 minutes should build strength (yoga counts); if I am working in the hospital, my goal is just 90 minutes, which is a more realistic stretch during those busy days.

How did I do during this hospital week?

Did I triumph this week?
  • Saturday:  A walk to my pick up point, 18 minutes.
  • Sunday:  A walk to my pick up point, 18 minutes .
  • Monday: A walk to my pick up point, 18 minutes.
  • Tuesday: A walk to my pick up point, 18 minutes.
  • Wednesday: The weather might have been okay for a walk, but about 20 minutes before I was ready to go, we had thunder. I decided to wait for a pick up at the hospital.
  • Thursday: No walking today either.
  • Friday: A walk to my pick up point, 18 minutes.

Total: 90 minutes of walking, I just made my goal!

I hope you have had a good week. Feel free to share any fabulous news of your own.
