I read many blog posts each day. They mostly focus on personal finance, but also on minimalism and travel . Here are some of my favorite posts I read in September.
The White Coat Investor had an informative post by an International Medical Graduate talking about where the usual US financial advice breaks down for doctors who are non-US citizens, here on a J-1 Visa. This is not info that I need for myself, but since I work with some non-US citizen trainees, I am super grateful for this post by Dr. Viteri: Across Borders: The White Coat Investor for the International Medical Graduate.
Vader on Fire has a very strong suspicion he might be FI, but he wants to continue working until next year, for personal reasons. I enjoyed his post: Am I FI? Schrödinger’s Nest Egg Edition.
Over at HumbleDollar, Edmund Marsh has a great list of 15 Tasks for Today. I think it’s fair to say I need to attend to 7 or 8 of those tasks very soon, how about you?
I am not sure that modern Europeans get to do all of these things, all the time, but the 7 Euro Habits to Simplify Your Life are all lovely. We in the US should try to do more of them. From Jessalyn Jones via No Sidebar.

Also from No Sidebar, Leigh Dale used AI to identify Joshua Becker’s 10 Most Repeated Pieces of Decluttering Advice. I have mixed feelings about using AI, but none at all about the 10 pieces of advice highlighted here.
Dennis Friedman returns to Humble Dollar to discuss The Security Money Can’t Buy.
Firecracker at Millennial Revolution looks at the same problem a little differently, in What If the Good Life Requires Giving Up Some Freedom?
