I’ve started Wednesday W’s as a way to give short updates of how I use my (new) extra day off per week. I am curious about what I will do with that extra day, and think blogging about it might prompt me to make sure I take advantage of it.
When did I wake up: With my alarm at 6:40, to attend a work meeting (by video) at 7.
Who am I spending time with: Mr. PiN, my trainer, a patient, my friend’s sister.
What did I do for work: Attended an educational meeting, saw one patient by video, dealt with the Monday message backlog, cleared my inbox (mostly), dealt with administrative duties.
What project am I working on, now I have time: Today was really about keeping my head above water.
What did I do to “fill my bucket:” It was mostly work today, but I did enjoy listening to a podcast.
What else was good about today: I was glad to see my friend’s sister and talk about my friend. I was happy to hand over the contents of her safety deposit box; she was so glad not to have to go to the bank with me to deal with that. I also ran some errands and was so grateful not to have a full clinic schedule to work around.
What’s made me laugh:
