I’ve started Wednesday W’s as a way to give short updates of how I use my (new) extra day off per week. I am curious about what I will do with that extra day, and think blogging about it might prompt me to make sure I take advantage of it.
When did I wake up: I had to set my alarm for 6:20 for work.
Who am I spending time with: Mostly myself, as Mr. PiN is out of town, returning late tonight.
What did I do for work: A 7 am meeting by video, then a 9 am meeting in the office. Some paperwork while on-site, and then checking in remotely a few times in the afternoon.
What project am I working on, now I have time: Tidying the living room, including the desk where I hope a piano might eventually go. Also dropping off items I’m giving away to my Buy Nothing group.
What did I do to “fill my bucket:” I very much enjoyed listening to podcasts while working on the living room. And one of my drop offs was in an area I used to take my morning walk in years ago–I took a little turn around the neighborhood while the weather was crisp and sunny.
What else was good about today: I felt very productive at home, and enjoyed being able to take the car out whenever I felt like it. I was also pretty excited for Mr. PiN to return home after several days away.
What’s made me laugh recently:
