I’ve started Wednesday W’s as a way to give short updates of how I use my (new) extra day off per week. I am curious about what I will do with that extra day, and think blogging about it might prompt me to make sure I take advantage of it.
When did I wake up: To the alarm, at 6:40, to attend a meeting.
Who am I spending time with: Both computer work and the outdoors.
What did I do for work: Attended a very early morning educational meeting, then presented at a noon meeting. I have been worrying about my presentation for weeks (maybe months), and as it turns out, very few people even attended.
What project am I working on, now I have time: Getting my scrubs shortened (if you try rolling up the pants hem with new scrubs, they don’t stay up; how ridiculous!). Also I looked at the yard and decided to do a little work. Mostly by sweeping leaves and pollen from the front walk and back patio.
What did I do to “fill my bucket:” See, sweeping the hardscape in the year.
What else was good about today: All the outside time was great. In addition, I met Mr. PiN for a coffee date after walking to the stores, it was nice treat.
What’s made me laugh:
