I have been keeping track of my exercise every Friday for 7 years, and plan to continue doing so.
Since the pandemic started, I have been keeping track of “firsts,” and more lately, I have been trying to note good things (“fabulousness”). It’s a good way to pay attention and not let life slide by.
Friday Firsts
I was called into the hospital to cover for a partner, for the whole week.
Fabulousness
Mr. PiN and I hosted some friends for dinner. It wasn’t totally fabulous, but it was very nice to clean up the house a bit and socialize.

Fitness Log
The goal is to get 150 minutes of moderate exercise, of which (ideally) 60 minutes should build strength (yoga counts); if I am working in the hospital, my goal is just 90 minutes, which is a more realistic stretch during those busy days.
How did I do in this hospital week?
- Saturday: A walk to my pick up point, 18 minutes.
- Sunday: A walk to my pick up point, only I was slow and Mr. PiN circled around to a nearer point, 16 minutes.
- Monday: I had stiff hamstrings after pulling weeds yesterday, and also needed to get home to get ready for guests. I asked for a pick up at the hospital.
- Tuesday: A walk to my pick up point, 18 minutes.
- Wednesday: A walk to my pick up point, 18 minutes.
- Thursday: Mr. PiN got to the pick up point and parked around the corner. 16 minutes.
- Friday: Mr. PiN found me at the same corner. 16 minutes.
Total: 102 minutes of walking, I made my goal!
I hope you have had a good week. Feel free to share any fabulous news of your own.
